Whether you want to wind down and relax... or go on a long meditative drive ...or simply enjoy a long summer evening, Linda's music will take you to all these places and more...

How did Linda create such powerful and individual music?

It all starts with her fascinating life story...

A Natural Entertainer

Linda's natural ability as a singer was apparent in her early years as she performed for family and friends in her native Manchester, UK..

Later she honed her skills on vocals and trumpet at the Royal Northern College of music, and soon came to the attention of John Dankworth and Cleo Laine, with whom she attended summer school with.

It was here that she fell in love with Jazz.

She spent the next few years mastering elements of jazz and later was invited to play on the world famous Cunard cruise liners.

She then went on tour in theatres with Des O’Connor and numerous TV appearances. An invitation soon followed on from Prince Charles to sing and play at his navy de-mob party in recognition of her work for the services in Belfast and Belize .

However despite the fame and success,

Linda realized that something was missing.

She felt the creative urge within her to express her own work and write her own songs.

Her dream came true when a German record label signed Linda to write a CD entitled “Look inside”, establishing her as an international artiste.

Linda went on to play at numerous venues worldwide such as Australia and the Malta Jazz festival working alongside famous names such as Toots Thielemans and trumpeter Bobby Shew, followed by a tour of India.

It was during her travels that she came across what would be her second passion in life -- Eastern teachings.

This spurred her on to write and produce a new album of songs with a mystical influence.. The CD titled “Lady of Light” emerged as a fresh and original genre with overtones of jazz harp and flute, now played regularly on London ’s smooth/Jazz FM radio station.

Recognized as an international artist...

Linda was subsequently invited to Malta to record her own TV show. A Radio Executive saw the program and asked her to produce and present a series of her songs and philosophy on the “Voice of the Mediterranean ” radio station titled “A Journey of Inspiration”

Linda has always been committed to her principles and a follower of the creative spirit within her.

In 2004 she was guided to take a trip to California . Whilst visiting a hotel in Monterey Linda spontaneously sang a Bossa Nova song from Sergio Mendes where it just so happened the drummer had been one of the members of the original Mendes band.

An invitation soon followed to sing and play the trumpet on a concert for KRML radio station at the Clint Eastwood building in Carmel, California.

The performance was recorded live for the Black Hawk record label with some of the finest jazz musicians on the West coast. This was certainly a defining moment in Linda's career.

One attendee was so moved that she described the music as if it was an angel singing. It took me to another world.
